Terms & Conditions

CREDIT/ DEBIT CARDS DETAILS WILL BE TAKEN TO RESERVE THE RESERVATION HOWEVER FULL PAYMENT WILL NOT BE TAKEN UNTIL DEPARTURE.

Payment on departure can be made by credit/debit card or cash. Please note we do not accept American Express or Diners cards.

Children over the age of 12 are welcome. Regrettably pets are not accepted.

Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email or post subject to your providing a valid email or postal address.

 

Arrival & Departure

Check-in time - our standard check-in times are between 16:00 and 19.00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 16.00, we will do our best to arrange a check-in or hold your luggage until your room is ready. If you expect to arrive after 19.00, please let us know.

Check-out time is before 10:30 hours.

 

Prices

Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast and parking. Room rates are subject to change.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made by email (stay@beckfordsview.co.uk) or telephone on +44 (0) 1225 464 391 at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date. In the event of you cancelling a booking, we will send a confirmation email to you.

If you cancel between 24 & 72 hours before your due arrival date, a charge of 50% of the total booking amount will be levied. If you cancel less than 24 hrs on the due date of your arrival or not arrive at the accommodation (‘no show’), we will charge your credit/debit card with the full value of your booking.

 

Registration

We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union must provide full names and addresses. All other guests must produce and provide details of a valid passport and details of their next destination when they check in. We need to retain this information for 12 months.

 

Termination Policy

Beckfords View reserves the right to ask the client and guests to leave if they act in an unreasonable manner. In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled and no refunds will be made.

 

Parking

Parking is complimentary and we allocate one car parking space per room. Cars and their contents left in the driveway are left entirely at the owners risk.

 

Accidents Happen

Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can clean or repair as soon as possible to minimise the damage. We reserve the right to charge for any breakages and/or damage caused against the card held for payment. The persons making the booking will be held responsible for any damages. Please leave muddy shoes/boots near the front door as soiled carpets may result in a charge being made for specialist  cleaning. We ask that guests do not bring takeaway food into their rooms due to the risk of spillage and odours. The tables in the breakfast room maybe used.

 

Lost Keys

A charge of £25.00 will be made for lost keys.
